Redfish Half Mount Fish Trophy Replicas
Redfish are a popular gamefish targeted by weekend warriors and intuitive fly fisherman. A half sided mount is made by casting the front part of a two sided full mount mold. When up on the wall the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall.
Redfish Half Mount Painting
We paint all our replicas to look alive. Redfish are notorious for their spot or spots, normally residing on the base of their tails but often multi spot redfish will have their sides covered in spots. Some redfish are very light in coloring but the most common color is a copper bronze shade on their backside mixed in with golds and white bellies. We finish with a UV Protective Urethane clear coat.

Installing Your Redfish Mount
All our half mounts are complete with a resin hanger attached to the backside that runs parallel to the ground. Hold the half mount up on the wall, drill in a couple screws or hammer in a couple nails where you would like it to be and then hang your new Redfish half mount. If your intentions are to put outside please contact us prior to ordering so we can evaluate whether this hanging system will work for you or if we need to discuss a different option.
