This part comes from our new heavy duty line, featuring (3) welded ears for maximum strength in even the worst of conditions. Our heavy duty male can be mated to its male counterpart (DH HDTM) that features 2 ears that slot flawlessly together creating a connection unrivaled in the boating industry. The DH-HDTF is mounted on our larger 5" x 6.75" backer plate. The ears are 1/2" thick. Compare our robust design to our competition. We suggest 1/2" bolts for connection.
