    Description

    For the ultimate leg stretch you need a super stretcher from ProForce. Tubular steel construction gives you a sturdy base. Padded back rest and leg extensions give a comfortable workout. Simply turn the gear-driven crank and the leg holders with attached wheels allow you to stretch beyond 180°. The stop latch enables you to slowly reach and hold your maximum stretch until you are ready to crank yourself back to a normal position.     Excellent Construction; Flawed ExecutionI've owned this stretching machine for five years, but I stopped using it after just six months of use. The construction is very good; the heavy steel means it will support even the biggest martial artist without problems, and the geared wheel is the best system ever for operating the leg limbs. That said - the machine has a comfort and ergonomics problem which I could not overcome; the long, thin thigh supports.The brackets attaching the thigh supports to the leg limbs are in perhaps exactly the wrong place for long-term leg health; they push your legs into a stretch at points deep inside your thigh, and out at your ankles (if you're long-legged). For me, this created *tremendous* stress on my knees.If ProForce would re-design the unit so that the vertical leg pads were adjustable, so I could position them at or just above my knees - or just add a center support between the upper and lower supports - then it would be the best piece of equipment of its type on the market. Until they re-design the thigh pads, I will continue to recommend the unit sold by Century MA instead.2Five Starsexcellent product. came in as described; like new.5
