Most advanced and cost-effective portable bullet trap on the market, part of our Slim-Design series for pistol calibers designed for quick, easy setup. Made from steel with AR backplate. Unlike other traps, it includes a ballistic rubber panel, self-healing, positioned in front of the steel cage. This helps reduce the lead dust generated, keeps most of the lead dust and bullet fragments inside the steel cage instead of polluting the environment, reduces the noise due to bullet impact on backplate. Other features: Easy assembly and maintenance; Removable steel backplate; Handle for increased portability; Bolt holes that can be used to hold the trap in place during shooting sessions; Cage top lip for clipping paper targets (targets can also be pinned on the rubber panel). Note 1: The usual lead dust generated during the shooting session, especially when using higher calibers, can be significantly reduced if the trap is filled with ballistic rubber mulch. This will further increase its stopping power, lifespan, and make it even quieter. If interested in this option, please contact us. Note 2: The lifespan of the ballistic rubber panel is highly dependent on the caliber and type of bullet used. For example, the FMJ type rounds will not be as destructive to the panel's lifespan as the FTX, HP, XTP or SP bullets. Warning: Must be used within the general safety guidelines for bullet traps (maintain a safe distance, must avoid shooting the trap sides or edges, always aim for center of the trap, ensure that trap is placed on a stable surface, careful inspection of backplate and sides for damage or gaps, replace front panel when holes/gaps start developing, check overall condition prior to each use etc.) Designed for outdoor use primarily. Indoor use possible only when filled with rubber mulch, proper ventilation and extra caution.
